Accounting Manager
$110-115K + 20% Bonus

My client is the fastest growing company and leader in their industry! Looking for a ROCK STAR Accounting Manager.

The Accounting Manager will support various aspects of the department and day-to-day financial operations of the company and be responsible for leading the corporate accounting team for the region.

Responsibilities:
Lead accounting team in the month-end close process. Manage, develop and mentor staff. Review and improve the process of monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts ensuring appropriate support and expense analysis of P&L accounts. Gather and compile documentation and support for internal and external auditors for quarter- and year-end audits. Develop, implement, and document accounting policies and procedures to ensure all financial transactions are executed in accordance with GAAP. Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, by developing and improving internal controls, as well as company policies and procedures. Lead a team in continuous improvement processes for both the SAP system and accounting areas. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, participating and leading in special projects, system enhancements or ad-hoc analyses as assigned.

Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. CPA a plus. 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, mix of public and private sector highly preferred. Knowledge of GAAP accounting standards and SOX requirements. SAP A PLUS. Advanced proficiency in Excel (i.e. pivot tables, V-lookups).
