The workplace is gradually becoming safer through the continuing efforts of employers who encourage workers to get vaccinated against COVID-19. This is an important step toward achieving full employment within the United States. According to the Society for Human Resource Management, they found that in a recent survey covering over 400 large employers with a total of over six million employees, about 60 percent of the companies are actively advising their workers about the benefits of vaccines. The same survey also found that over 25 percent of these employers are devising company policies in support of vaccination efforts. This is likely to grow over time as the marketplace creates demand for new workers to be hired, which in turn will drive up the push for vaccinations as a way to ensure workplace safety and business continuity.
