Senior Accountant
$75K + Bonus
Princeton, NJ (onsite – potential hybrid)

Our healthcare technology client is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead key accounting functions, reconciliations, and reporting with strong analytical skills and deep knowledge of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records through general ledger entries and account reconciliations. Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for timely financial reporting. Prepare schedules (fixed assets, loans, software, etc.) and accruals for period-end close. Support financial statement and management report preparation for executive review. Reconcile accounts, generate payables / receivables reports, and manage daily bank reconciliations. Identify process improvements and support automation initiatives. Apply critical thinking to analyze journal entries and escalate issues appropriately. Document processes with flow diagrams to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Accounting or Finance major preferred with strong GAAP knowledge. Minimum 3 years in Finance / Accounting. Excel proficiency and PowerPoint. Detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills. In-office role with potential hybrid transition after onboarding.
