KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the preparation and posting of journal entries during the monthly close cycle. Own balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring every detail is spot on. File and remit state and local sales tax returns with precision and timeliness. Manage fixed asset tracking and lease accounting in accordance with ASC 842. Support audit processes by providing clear, concise documentation and insights. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures and elevate team efficiency. Partner with departments across the business to gather data, resolve issues, and support key initiatives. Stay ahead of the curve with current accounting standards and industry best practices. Jump into special projects and ad hoc duties with enthusiasm and drive. Willingness to go the extra mile during peak times - your commitment makes a difference.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required). CPA license or progress toward certification (preferred and highly valued).

QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years of experience in accounting or finance. Big 4 public accounting experience? That’s a big plus. Familiarity with Sage Intacct is a strong advantage. Solid command of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles. Mastery of Microsoft Excel—you know your way around pivot tables and VLOOKUPs. Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A self-starter with a passion for excellence and a can-do attitude. Natural problem-solver who enjoys both collaboration and independent work.
