Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the accounting process, working closely with different departments, and being involved in the day-to-day financial operations of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle general ledger accounting and maintain accurate financial records. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Analyze financial results and help investigate any variances or discrepancies. Support inventory and cost accounting functions. Assist with fixed assets and related reporting. Help ensure financial information is accurate and compliant with accounting standards. Participate in financial reporting and special projects. Look for ways to improve processes and increase efficiency. Work with teams across the organization to support business needs.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of accounting experience. Experience in manufacturing, consumer products, or a similar industry is preferred. Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Good communication skills and the ability to work with different teams. Organized, detail-oriented, and accurate. Self-starter who can work independently and take ownership of their responsibilities.
