BRIDGES

Need someone to Project manage engineering projects for bridge repair and replacement during the design and construction phases. Will review structural designs for assigned projects, perform quality control on plans and specifications, work with NJDOT and FHWA guidelines, coordinate with consultant engineers, construction inspectors, and contractors, and should have knowledge of construction procedures. Should have the ability to review bridge and other structural plans, contract drawings, and shop drawings and plans submitted by consulting engineers and other agencies. Will prepare estimates, engineering reports, work on multiple projects, coordinate with utilities, and will perform project closeout.

Position has excellent benefits including a pension plan, generous time off, 7 hour workday with no weekends and very little after hours work. Environment is very stable and secure and is not high pressure at all.

Position will require 7+ years’ experience with coordination of bridge projects. PE license a plus.
