Well established Real Estate client is looking to add an enthusiastic Property Accounting Manager. Must have Commercial Real Estate experience. Will prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements
eporting packages, and perform a wide variety of accounting analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs a wide variety of accounting functions including: Month-end closing and quarterly financial statements. Prepare journal entries and maintain workpapers. Analyze and explain significant budget variances. Prepare annual budgets and reforecasts. CAM and Real Estate Tax reconciliations. Analyze available cash position of real estate projects. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and leverage AI tools to streamline reporting and accounting. Assist management with special projects. Analyze closing/financing documents to identify applicable accounting treatment for the transactions

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is looking for a long-term opportunity to take on a full range of accounting responsibilities for assigned real estate projects.

Bachelor’s Degree. 8-10 years of combined accounting experience in commercial real estate property accounting. Mix of public accounting real estate client base and private industry experience a plus. Strong Excel skills. YARDI or MRI a plus.
