An established multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead complex land development and site design projects for a variety of private and commercial clients. This is a leadership role with significant client interaction, project management, and technical oversight responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple civil engineering projects from concept through construction. Serve as the engineer of record, coordinating across disciplines as needed. Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development efforts. Oversee the preparation of land development plans, engineering drawings, technical reports, and specifications. Navigate local, county, and state permitting processes for private development projects. Mentor and guide junior engineers and drafters, providing technical leadership on stormwater management, utility coordination, and erosion & sediment control designs. Prepare proposals, manage budgets, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. 6 + years of experience in civil/site design, ideally with a focus on private development. PE license in NJ (additional states a plus). Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and permitting processes. Strong client-facing and project management experience preferred. Excellent technical writing, organizational, and leadership skills.
