Manager, Consolidation Accounting
Bergen County, NJ (Hybrid)

Our global medical device client located in Bergen County, NJ is currently seeking a Manager, Consolidation Accounting. This will be a hybrid schedule.

About the Role:
We're looking for a motivated leader to oversee our consolidated financial reporting process. In this role, you'll guide a talented team responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. You'll also collaborate with auditors, ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX, and support exciting projects like acquisitions.

What You’ll Do:
Lead the consolidation and preparation of financial statements, including journal entries and analyses. Assist in creating balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Support SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy) and the Annual Report. Work closely with tax, treasury, and management teams to address accounting issues. Partner with auditors to ensure compliance with US GAAP. Provide guidance on legal entity restructuring and US GAAP standards. Manage ASC 842 lease accounting. Support acquisitions by integrating financial reporting systems. Oversee global consolidations and intercompany eliminations. Identify opportunities for process improvements. Act as an SAP (BPC) super user. Take on special projects as needed.

What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or CPA candidate preferred). 5+ years of experience in public or private accounting (consolidation experience is a plus). Supervisory experience is a plus but not required. Strong analytical skills with experience in financial statement preparation. Ability to multitask and communicate effectively in a team environment.
