A leading global medical device company based in Bergen County, NJ, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Accounting Analyst. This pivotal role involves conducting in-depth research on complex technical accounting issues, preparing detailed position papers, and ensuring strict compliance with U.S. GAAP standards. The Senior Technical Accounting Analyst will also provide guidance on critical accounting matters, support the organization's financial reporting processes, and contribute to maintaining the integrity of the company’s financial operations in a fast-paced and innovative industry.

This role supports day-to-day accounting inquiries from business units, addressing topics such as revenue recognition, fixed assets, R&D arrangements, and lease accounting.

Additional duties include assisting with external reporting, mass tort litigation accounting, mergers and acquisitions, and the implementation of new U.S. GAAP standards.

Qualifications:
B.S. in Accounting/Finance is required, with 3-5 years of relevant experience in public accounting or financial reporting at a large multinational company. CPA certification (or progress toward it) is preferred, along with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Have a window or an inspiring picture or poster on a wall nearby that you can look up at every once in a while for inspiration and to help your eyes maintain focusing ability at various distances.

By doing these simple and relatively low-cost adjustments to your workspace, you will be sure to make amazing productivity gains with minimal stress. Job searching is stressful enough as is, so having a nice work area in your home is a great way to make your job hunt more pleasant and your future job easier to do!
