Technical Accounting Manager
Bridgewater, NJ – hybrid
$175K + Bonus

My client is has created a new role due to their dominance and growth as the leader in their Industry! This position will support various aspects of the department and daily financial operations of the company. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading various aspects of corporate accounting with a focus on technical accounting. Will also be responsible for leading month end close functions…as well as assisting with performing analysis on account activity and managing SOX initiatives. The role will closely interface with the other Finance functions, other regional and corporate departments, and External Reporting. Given the Company’s continued high growth, the position will serve a role in process and system initiatives. Support special project efforts for the Company’s lease accounting and for other accounting systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree of Accounting. CPA or parts passed. 5-8 plus years of experience in an external reporting or technical accounting role and/or Big Four or large regional accounting firm. Strong understanding of FASB, US GAAP, SOX and SEC rules and regulations. ASC 842 Lease Accounting Experience preferred. SAP a plus.
