Manufacturer of mechanical components needs someone to oversee a large manufacturing/process engineering group to drive cost efficiency and cost reduction. Will decrease scrap, identify and implement continuous improvement projects, manage projects designed to increase revenue, reduce expenses, and improve the customer experience. Will provide technical direction for transitioning processes from new product development to commercialization, monitor the progress of projects, develop and support employees in the process engineering department, and interview, hire, and train employees. Processes include stamping, assembly, machining, injection molding, forming, laser cutting, laser welding, robotics, and automation. They are very up to date on the latest equipment and automation and the position will allow someone to learn a wide variety of processes. Position will require 10+ years’ experience in a management role overseeing a manufacturing/process engineering department. Experience in the medical device, automotive, injection molding or related industries a plus. PMP certification is preferred.
