Growing food manufacturer needs someone to be responsible for 4 plants in the NJ/NY area. Will work to prevent workplace accidents and promote health and safety awareness, maintaining all safety, regulatory programs including OSHA, weekly and monthly reporting, workers comp, hazard identification, injury case management, and regulatory safety training. Will evaluate health and safety policies for risk assessment, develop and conduct safety training, lead and train accident investigations to determine root cause, and will work with OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations. Position will require 75% local travel to 4 plants in NJ and Long Island. Position will require 5+ years safety experience in manufacturing with knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations. Food manufacturing is a plus. Position can be based in NJ or Long Island.
