Our client, a world renown medical device manufacturer, is offering a terrific opportunity as a Senior Accountant for candidates with prior public accounting experience. This hybrid role involves three days in-office and reports to the Consolidations Senior Manager in the Corporate Controller’s Group. The Senior Consolidations Accountant is responsible for consolidating and preparing worldwide financial statements across various reporting cycles.

Duties include:
Assisting with balance sheets, income statements, and providing support for Annual Reports and SEC filings. Interaction with management, auditors, and other departments is essential to ensure compliance with accounting standards. Additionally, the role involves collaborating on business acquisitions, managing intercompany transactions, supporting regional finance, identifying process improvements, and serving as a super user for SAP (BPC).

Qualifications include:
Degreed in accounting or finance. Experience in public accounting required. CPA certification or candidacy. At least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Excel with SAP and BPC experience preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are required to succeed in this role.

Many career advisors, as well as surveys of job-seekers, indicate that a typical job search can take anywhere from three to six months, and in some cases much longer. By the second or third month you should start to see a much better ratio of job interviews versus job applications. Using an adaptive job search strategy will almost surely have you honing in on the exact jobs you want by the time you reach the six month mark or hopefully even sooner!
