The HRBP will implement and manage a wide variety of Human Resource duties including; leadership development, succession planning, talent management, organizational design, change management, policies and procedure, recruitment, employee and labor relations, benefits and compensation administration, EEO, training, and HRIS.

Responsibilities:
Lead strategic labor relations initiatives and strategy. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues/investigations. Partner with leadership and employees to improve employee engagement, retention and organizational effectiveness. Foster an environment that provides employees training and developmental opportunities. Handle the administration of all benefits and retirement programs. Collaborate with talent acquisition to recruit top talent for hourly and salaried positions. Ensure compliance across legal, regulatory and internal policies. Promote a safe working environment and ensure manufacturing plant is in compliance with company and OSHA regulations. Regularly audit employee data in HRIS to ensure data is up to date and accurate. Oversee onboarding process and policies & procedures. Manage and mentor a team of HR professionals.

Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor degree required. 10+ years of Human Resources experience. Must have experience within in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of talent acquisition, total rewards, performance management, HRIS and employee engagement. Experience with labor and employee relations. Experience within an union environment a plus. Ability to bring about change within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of State Laws, Federal Laws and regulations in the areas of wage and hour laws, employment law, and workers’ compensation required. PHR/SPHR or MBA/Advanced degree in Human Resource Management a plus.

Must have an analytical mind that provides creative solutions to day-to-day problems. Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven ability to influence and work effectively across all levels. Demonstrate discretion, able to work with sensitive and confidential materials and possess good business judgment. Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities. Proven ability to deal with conflict and diffuse difficult situations.
