Senior Associate Datacatalog Analyst (BC)
$150K + Bonus
Manhattan, NY (Hybrid Model)
Major Insurance Company

5–7+ years of professional experience, including 2–3+ years in a data governance function. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data cataloging/lineage concepts. Proven ability to translate business needs into governance policies, standards, and workflows. Excellent communication and collaboration skills and experience working across business and technical teams.

Required Skills:
Hands-on experience with Atlan, Unity Catalog or similar metadata management tools. Familiarity with data quality and observability tools (e.g., Anomalo). Strong SQL skills with the ability to analyze and validate data lineage. Experience applying governance frameworks, glossary management, and stewardship processes. Working in Agile environments using Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.

Preferred Skills:
Proficiency with Data platforms and relevant Data Management tools such as Databricks, Redshift, dbt, FiveTran, Streamlit etc.
