The HR Generalist a critical part in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations, and leading the implementation and optimization of our HRIS platform. The ideal candidate combines strong interpersonal skills with a process-driven mindset, balancing hands-on employee support with system and data management responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Employee Relations
Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on workplace concerns, conflicts, and grievances, conducting thorough and fair investigations as needed. Advise managers on performance management, coaching, disciplinary actions, and terminations in accordance with company policy and employment law. Partner with leadership to identify and address employee engagement trends, turnover drivers, and morale issues. Facilitate conflict resolution conversations and mediate disputes to reach fair, timely outcomes. Support the administration of employee feedback mechanisms (surveys, exit interviews, stay interviews) and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Ensure consistent, equitable application of company policies across departments.

HR Operations
Manage core HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, leave administration, benefits coordination, and employee documentation. Maintain accurate and compliant employee records in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. Support recruitment efforts as needed, including job postings, interview coordination, and offer letter preparation. Own or contribute to HR policy development, employee handbook updates, and compliance audits. Prepare HR reports and metrics (headcount, turnover, time-to-fill, etc.) for leadership review. Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, benefits, policies, and procedures in a timely, professional manner.

HRIS System Implementation & Administration
Lead or support the implementation, configuration, and rollout of the HRIS platform, including data migration, workflow setup, and system testing. Serve as the primary system administrator, managing user access, permissions, and ongoing configuration updates. Partner with IT, Payroll, and Benefits teams to ensure seamless data integration across connected systems. Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to help employees and managers adopt new HRIS tools and self-service features. Troubleshoot system issues, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate upgrades or enhancements. Audit HRIS data regularly for accuracy and integrity, and generate custom reports/dashboards to support business decisions. Identify opportunities to automate and streamline HR processes through system capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR role. Demonstrated experience with employee relations, including conflict resolution and investigations. Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms including implementation or major configuration projects. Strong communication, discretion, and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
