The Human Resources Coordinator supports the daily operations of the HR department and plays a key role in ensuring a positive employee experience. This position is responsible for administrative support across recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits and HR systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate full-cycle onboarding, including offer letters, background checks, new hire paperwork, and orientation scheduling. Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication. Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures. Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee communications. Assist with payroll processing by preparing and validating employee data (as needed). Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, events, and training programs. Track and maintain compliance documentation (I-9s, EEO data, etc.). Generate HR reports and support audits as needed. Assist with performance management processes and documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 3+ years of HR, administrative, or coordination experience. Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems preferred. Knowledge of basic employment laws and HR best practices is a plus.
Preferred Skills
Experience with onboarding systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS). Familiarity with recruitment and benefits administration. Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
