Oversee operation of Enterprise Data Warehouse built on Microsoft SQL and Microsoft Fabric. Includes optimizing performance, monitoring data imports, and integrating new data. Manage and support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes that feed data into the warehouse from various banking systems. Ensure that data pipelines are running on schedule and that data from source systems (e.g. transaction processing systems, CRM, core banking software) is properly transformed and loaded into the warehouse without errors. Plan and execute long term architectural roadmap for Data Warehouse, including cloud migration. Implement and enforce data management standards and procedures to ensure data is consistent, accurate, and secure. Apply the principles of data confidentiality, integrity, and availability by controlling access to sensitive financial data, protecting against unauthorized access, and ensuring reliable data backups and restoration processes. Lead data cleanup initiatives to purge or correct inaccurate and outdated information and to merge duplicate records, thereby improving overall data quality and warehouse efficiency. Perform data audits and use scripts or tools to clean and transform data as needed. Work closely with data analysts, BI developers, and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and ensure the data warehouse can fulfill those needs. This may involve creating or optimizing database views, supporting the development of data marts or cubes, and ensuring data is structured for easy retrieval. Act as a liaison between database developers, data architects, and business analysts to translate business data requirements into effective warehouse solutions. Develop, document, and maintain formal policies, procedures, and standards for the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Keep up-to-date on information technology industry trends. Maintain the confidentiality of the bank and its customers.
