The Human Resources Director leads human resources initiatives in alignment with the company’s mission and goals. This role will drive strategic HR planning, talent management, employee engagement, benefits, HRIS, and compliance and oversees union and labor relations.

Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Provide strategic guidance to senior management on HR matters, including union and labor relations. Talent Acquisition and Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies. Implement performance management systems. Employee Relations and Engagement: Foster a positive workplace culture and manage employee relations. Support conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. Compensation and Benefits: Manage compensation and benefits programs. Ensure compliance with legal requirements. Union and Labor Relations: Handle union negotiations and maintain positive labor relations. Interpret and apply collective bargaining agreements. HR Policies and Compliance: Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with employment laws.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; Master’s preferred. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification desirable. Proven HR leadership in non-profits or similar sectors. Strong knowledge of HR practices, laws, and compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:
Full-time position based at headquarters. Occasional travel for meetings or training.
