Our global client is looking for an HR Benefits Specialist. This role supports Human Resources with a primary focus on employee benefits both domestically and internationally, including life, health, FSA, dental, disability insurance, ACA, and commercial insurance.

Key Responsibilities:
Research, analyze, evaluate, and administer various benefit plans. Develop and present benefit plan recommendations to management. Respond to benefits inquiries and resolve claims issues. Manage the open enrollment process and benefit plan transfers. Ensure compliance with benefit plan documents. Prepare and present benefit plan information to employees. Act as the primary liaison with employees regarding benefits. Handle government reporting and compliance testing for benefits. Manage HIPAA processes and conduct necessary audits. Maintain vendor contact for resolving discrepancies. Administer leaves of absence and handle accommodation requests. Ensure compliance with state and federal leave laws. Administer the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Conduct benefit orientations for new employees. Assist with special HR projects and provide backup for payroll as needed.

Education & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university. 3 to 5 years of Human Resources experience. PHR certification preferred. Proficiency in HR systems, internet software, payroll systems, spreadsheets, and word processing. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
