Benefits Specialist/Analyst

The Benefits Specialist will administer health and welfare plans and maintain compliance, analyze data and make recommendations for improvements, and manage the provider relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
Closely monitor benefit costs and maintain accuracy of participants and enrollment data. Handle vendor relationships and monitor provider fees, data integrity and reporting. Stay abreast of new legislation for compliance. Assist with open enrollment process. Collaborate with HRIS to implement new plans or plan changes, help to test interface for accuracy. Collect and analyze data and manage reporting.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required. 3-4 years of benefits experience with health, welfare, and retirement benefit plans. 2+ years’ experience with HRIS (PeopleSoft preferred). Strong analytical mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
