$190-200K base, 20% bonus

DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the direction and management of digital strategy, effectiveness and innovation initiatives supporting US Medical Affairs and Research & Development. The person in this role will drive growth and innovation through digital transformation, development of new products and execution of tactics through broad expertise and strategic leadership, championing new approaches to identify and resolve complex and critical Medical Affairs challenges and opportunities. This individual will work collaboratively within Medical Affairs and key cross-functional teams to define and drive digital strategies. The person will serve as the dedicated point of contact to implement digital initiatives, both internal and external facing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assess and drive innovative digital tools and platforms to further develop the digital competencies and strategy within Scientific Communications and Medical Affairs. Lead digital initiatives ensuring successful evaluation, execution and optimization while identifying innovative ways to inform awareness, adoption, and utilization of these initiatives. Provide digital expertise by collaborating with cross-functional partners on critical business priorities. Collaborate with Medical Affairs teams to identify key areas of focus to develop scalable digital solutions that support transformation of medical activities for HCPs. Understand and maintain view of competitive digital landscape. Determine which landscape trends have greatest unmet need and can be used to develop solutions and drive best practices within Scientific Communications and Medical Affairs. Drive oversight, project management and delivery of digital initiatives. Partner with IT team and other digital experts within the organization to find opportunities for harmonies and collaboration. Ensure operational excellence through evaluation, management, and oversight of new value-added digital initiatives within budget and adhering to digital governance, legal, compliance and regulatory standards.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors in science or related field; advanced degree (Masters, PharmD, PhD) preferred. Significant experience in Medical Affairs roles, with exceptional knowledge of digital health trends and demonstrated expertise driving disciplined execution of digital initiatives. Strong project management skills, ability to develop and implement structured project plans to a high standard and ability to establish strategic direction for cross-functional project teams. Demonstrated ability to synthesize information to develop recommendations, strategic imperatives, and actionable solutions. Analytical mindset and data oriented with the ability to distill complex topics in a timely, effective manner. Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills with a strong scientific background and pharmaceutical knowledge and experience with Medical Affairs systems. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with an independent work ethic and the ability to work with a diverse set of stakeholders to meet objectives and inform strategy including all levels of management. Team player who is willing to teach and bring others along the journey while partnering with cross functional partners including digital vendors. Thorough understanding of the pharmaceutical corporate environment and experience partnering with cross functional teams across R&D and commercial functions.
