The Environmental Health & Safety Manager will oversee site-wide health, safety, environmental, and sustainability initiatives. This leadership role is responsible for driving compliance, promoting a proactive safety culture, and partnering cross-functionally to support operational excellence across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all site environmental, health, and safety programs and initiatives.
• Promote a culture of workplace safety through employee engagement, coaching, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify and reduce potential hazards.
• Oversee safety training programs and ensure employees and contractors are properly trained and compliant.
• Track and maintain EHS metrics, reports, corrective actions, permits, and documentation.
• Support sustainability and waste reduction initiatives across the operation.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and leadership teams to improve site performance and reduce risk.
• Assist with implementation and maintenance of environmental and safety management systems.
• Lead continuous improvement activities related to safety performance and operational compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience managing EHS programs and teams.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and general environmental compliance standards.
• Experience developing and delivering employee safety training programs.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, influence stakeholders, and drive accountability.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience supporting ISO-based management systems.
• Exposure to process safety, root cause analysis, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Background in highly regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.
