The Production Planning Coordinator will work inter-departmentally within Operations to help plan the production of various specialty chemical/ingredients materials
Coordinate with the materials planning team to ensure finished goods packaging availability coincides with the production schedule to support the production team. Print, organize, and distribute finished goods labels for numerous product families in accordance with the weekly production schedule. Print, organize, and distribute production paperwork (Work Orders, Checklists and Packaging Reports) to support the production schedule. Regularly check and update as needed. Assist in the upkeep of the production schedule per equipment to ensure customer deadlines are adhered to. Assist in updating customer service with any and all changes in schedule as it relates to availability manufactured products promised against sales orders. Assist in coordinating the schedule and delivery of raw materials from satellite warehouses to meet production requirements in a timely fashion. Assist in streamlining the planning processes to maximize efficiency and eliminate waste. Maximize company ERP system and automate the planning process. Identify and capture KPI metrics to indicate effects of process improvements and drive future initiatives.
BA/BS and 3-5 years related experience. Excellent communication both verbal and written. Deadline driven. Ability to work in a fast paced-fluid environment.
