The Compensation Manager will be exposed to all areas of cash compensation including market-pricing, the annual salary review, corporate bonus, sales incentive compensation as well as other variable pay programs. Responsibilities will include review and approval of job promotions and base salary adjustments. This individual will be responsible for survey participation and market pricing for sales and benchmark positions, including analysis and recommendations on compensation adjustments (i.e. pay mix changes).
The successful candidate will have exposure to all areas of compensation. Responsibilities will include: Manage the year-end process (bonus, equity and merit) for your client groups including data management, analysis and compensation consulting. Evaluate any new or revised jobs for your client groups and determine appropriate band, FLSA classification and/or salary adjustments. Participate in market surveys related to your client groups and provide full market analysis for HR and senior management. Work with the generalists and recruitment to structure competitive offers to potential candidates. Develop compensation recruiting guidelines for your client groups that empower the recruiters to make competitive offers that fit within our CIT compensation structure. Act as the compensation expert for your client groups. Provide assistance in variable pay programs and sales incentive programs as needed. Work with Director on various compensation related projects such as revamping and improving internal banding, and expanding the market-pricing discipline. Requirements include: A BS/BA degree (preferred), 5-10 years of Compensation experience, strong analytical skills, and expert knowledge of Excel and Access.
This position requires outstanding relationship management and presentation skills. The ideal candidate is able to interact successfully with employees in other departments, such as finance across multiple geographies. A foundation of compensation principals and analytical skills, tactical planning and visioning capability is required. A solid understanding of organization change principles, communication strategy and employee engagement methods is highly beneficial. Position reports to the Director of Compensation.
