The Lead Application Developer will transform functional/business requirements into system, process and program designs while using appropriate tools to document and communicate designs. This position will evaluate system integration impacts beyond the scope of specified changes and evaluate the work of team members for technical quality, adherence to standards and completeness. They will ensure the quality of developed and delivered IT capabilities by performing frequent code reviews, developing coding and development standards and play an important role in the test process. The Developer will provide support as necessary to applications and users within a functional area and work with other areas of IT to ensure operational readiness of systems. Additionally, this role will mentor other Application Developers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree and/or relevant experience in IT related to software development or support. 6-8 years experience with designing, configuring and extending IBM Sterling suite of products. Strong understanding of Sterling programming practices, standards and conventions. Strong facilitation skills to engage subject matter experts to define platform requirements and conduct detailed design reviews with project teams. Working experience and knowledge of SQL, XML, XSLT, Java, Linux, Enterprise Application Server (WAS, JBoss, Glassfish etc.), Web Services, API. Experience with designing IBM Sterling solutions that are integrated with JDE-E1 and JDE-World ERP platform. Strong understanding of retail and e-commerce order management process and hands on experience in supporting such processes. Demonstrated experience with a systems development life cycle. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to explain and document the technology strategy to diverse audiences; technical and IT leadership. Strong problem solving skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in Order Management Domain and Supply Chain technologies including warehouse management, demand planning and reporting tools like cognos. Experience in multiple technology platforms (Oracle data base, ETL, IIB, EDI, Elasticsearch, RESTful Web Services, Git Hub, TFS or any code version control platforms, ServiceNow). Experience with global & luxury brands. Previous experience working on large transformational initiatives
e-platforms.
