Pricing Analyst (TAS)

Job Location: Bridgewater NJ

NJ Pharmaceutical company in Bridgewater NJ is hiring a Pricing Analyst to be responsible for supporting the Pricing Department. The qualified candidate will be involved in reviewing, analyzing, updating and presenting information pertaining to the company’s products taking in account market shares and corporate strategies for growth. This position will act as a liaison between the Pricing Department and various other departments.

Essential Functions: Assist Managers and Directors in gathering data, monitoring performance and preparing financial analysts in support of the cross-functional joint account planning process for assigned customer segments and accounts. Develop and prepare pricing models and corresponding account proposals ensuring they are complete in accordance with defined service levels in order to meet internal and external customer time lines. Secure reliable data and prepare pricing scenarios utilizing established models for purposes of developing and analyzing account proposals related to products and services for his or her assigned customer segments and accounts. Knowledge and understanding of the systems, data, reports and operational processes that is critical to developing account proposals and executing contracts. Researches, audits and identifies customer and contract issues that may affect account planning, strategies and proposals. Assists in the development of formal RFP responses as necessary. Develop and maintain various reports including: quarterly reports, monthly price and sales tracker, compliance tracker, etc. Responsible for developing specific account knowledge and understanding of contractual terms and actual performance to assist Managers, Directors and Sales partners in developing and implementing account strategies, pricing alternatives and contract language.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in a business-related function. A minimum of 3 years of Contracting, Finance, Account Management or Pricing is required. Prior pharmaceutical pricing experience is required. Analytical but with a customer service mentality – Intermediate. Strong ability to multi-tasking – Advanced. Ability to prepare, analyze and interpret general reports. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers. Strong Microsoft Office programs with emphasis in Excel.
