Customer Service Lead (CN)

The customer service lead will be responsible for all order management activities for deliveries. This role is absolutely critical to ensuring customer service is met with the highest degree of urgency. The customer service lead will be the go-to person for processing sales orders, managing customer relationships and ensuring efficiency in the order to cash process. The candidate will ensure fulfillment, invoicing and the returns process as it ties to our financial performance on an ongoing basis.

Customer service lead will act as a customer service manager with experience leading a team and doing tactical order management activities. Receiving purchase orders, creating sales orders and fulfilling them will be critical activities on the front end. Invoicing customers, managing customer credit processes and product return processes will be key activities on the back end.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage small team responsible for all tactical order management/customer service activities. Have knowledge of how to process orders that come in via EDI, fax, email, or phone from customers and provide direction on how to optimize process. Establish and monitor the product return policy including receiving RMA, processing RMA/credit memo and inventory adjustments. Responsible for new customer setup in accounting system and with the customer. Interact with third party technical support team for EDI troubleshooting. Direct support for the Sales team by processing sample and promotional literature orders. Assist Logistics and Customer Service Team with repackaging projects on an as needed basis.

REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years Customer Service experience is required with a demonstrated understanding of finance and supply chain interdependencies. Managerial experience is preferred. Requires a Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience. ERP experience required Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
