HR Business Partner (BF)
Job Location: White Plains, NY
This role will be responsible for leading all of shared HR services, including compensation, benefits, policies as well as HR analytics. Reports the CHRO.
HR Shared Services
Lead a companywide study to determine the optimum approach to deliver HR Shared Services, to include opportunities to smartly outsource HR transactional work.
Compensation & Benefits
Working in partnership with senior leadership and the HR team develop a comprehensive wage and benefits strategy for the company as well as a phased transition plan that enables the organization to be competitive in attracting and retaining great talent. Lead the development, implementation and ongoing management of a robust salary planning tool for all employees (including new hires). Conduct external wage and benefit surveys to assess where we stand in the marketplace and recommend needed adjustments. Partner with finance to identify the best value vendors and manage these interfaces. Lead the transform to employee and manager self-service for HR.
Manage the development, implementation, and ongoing administration of HR policies to insure we are living the company’s values. Train and coach leaders of others to effectively lead their employees and implement HR policies and practices. Understand and proactively act upon opportunities to improve the overall employee experience (modification of HR policies, coaching to leaders of others, etc.). Partner with external legal counsel as needed during employee performance management situations. Lead the maintenance of all required company and regulatory reports and records.
Lead the ongoing management of the corporate HR scorecard, to include analysis of recent results and recommendations on next steps to address any critical gaps. Lead the development of targeted HR analytical tools to address critical business issues (such as predicting employee turnover or improving employee productivity).
HR Team Capability
As an experienced HR practitioner work closely with members of the HR team to build their capability and mastery in the field. Actively seek out opportunities to learn from outside the company to bring new ideas/best practices into the company to accelerate our progress.
QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:
6+ years of solid professional HR experience, including HR outsourcing, compensation, benefits, employee relations and HR data analytics. Manufacturing experience required. Strategic and growth-oriented mindset. Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and cross functional collaboration skills. Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.
