Tax Analyst III (TAS)

Support the overall Tax Department, including SEC Tax Reporting, Tax Compliance, and Tax Planning Functions:

Income Tax Reporting & Provision – support Domestic Reporting and International Provision Process, including work with OneSource Tax Provision (OTP). Tax Compliance – support Federal tax compliance with OneSource Income Tax (OIT); liaison for Indirect Taxes (with payroll, AP, FP&A); prepare Estimated Payments and maintain Tax Calendar; Tax Planning & Treasury responsibilities – model for cash tax and income tax planning, including transfer pricing and M&A. Point of Contact for External Advisory Projects, including R&D, subchapter K & Tax Receivable Agreement. Preparation/ review of calculations and related financial statement disclosures, documentation of significant positions and book-to-tax differences. Assist in strategic tax planning initiatives. Team with the tax and financial reporting teams, including tie out of financial statements, footnotes, results of operations, related party fees for quarterly 10-Q’s and 10-K. Prepare flux analyses and design standard reports to be used in quarterly financial highlights presented to the board of directors in connection with the filing of the SEC 10-Q’s and 10-K. Oversee Tax Receivable Agreement calculations-outsourced w/ Big 4. Supports the company’s M&A activity and integration; and participates in business development projects. Cash tax forecasting, and resolution of unitholder issues. Manage indirect tax filings. Coordinate with other depts. to determine tax implications of operations and transactions and provide optimal solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:
(MS/MA) Master's degree in Finance/Accounting – preferred. Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Bachelors of Science in Accounting or Finance – Required. Minimum 5 years US federal income tax experience in public corporation or Big 4 accounting, including partnership taxation. Pharmaceutical industry/life sciences experience preferred. Minimum 5 years US federal income tax experience in public corporation or Big 4 accounting, including partnership taxation. Power user of Excel. Proficient in PowerPoint and Word. Large project experience preferred. CPA Certification- Active-Upon Hire-Required**
