Senior Business Analyst/Veeva (BC)

The Sr. Business Analyst, Veeva Solutions will be responsible for providing direction and technical support for our Veeva environment consisting of Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, and Veeva Network; including identifying business requirements and working with support personnel to implement system changes, provide system administration support, and interface Sales, Sales Operations, Business Analytics, and Training groups. This position will engage with various user groups to gather requirements, design solutions, implement and maintain the Veeva environment at maximum efficiency.
Working with department heads and key personnel to identify process improvements. Take complex concepts and articulate them to audiences of varying perception levels. Perform requirements gathering and analysis to assemble detailed requirements. Document, manage and implement system change requests. Implement business requirements utilizing the Veeva CRM, Vault, and Network platforms. Perform administrative functions in the Veeva CRM, Vault and Network platforms including activities such as maintaining user accounts, loading data reports, resolving end-user technical issues and monitoring and reporting on system performance and utilization. Function as Project Leader for various upgrade and process improvement efforts. Work with the Training department to develop and deliver training and support programs for all user groups. Maintain Veeva system certifications and knowledge. Manage internal and external resources engaged in the development and support of Veeva CRM, Vault, and Network solutions. Maintain knowledge of the IT application delivery industry, objectively understand and evaluate the capabilities of tools and technologies; compare with the need of the business, and recommend potential solutions to managers within the business.
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, business, or related field from accredited college or university. Minimum 3 years of experience in Pharmaceutical industry with at least 3 years of Veeva configuration and support on the Veeva product lines including CRM and Vault. Veeva Certified CRM and Vault Administrator (Preferred). Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Demonstrated experience with IT processes including User Requirements gathering, Project Management, Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management. Minimum 2 years’ experience meeting with senior management and executives as a subject matter expert. Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and business concepts to technical audiences. Strong presentation skills. Strong knowledge of best practices for user interface design consistent with device constraints.
