HR Manager (BF)
Job Location: Secaucus, N.J.
Assist and support management and the leadership team with handling and resolving Human Resources issues. Responsible for Employee Relations investigations and trainings. Responds to employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll and policies. Inform Human Resources management of issues related to employee relations within the various facilities. Assist managers/supervisors with hiring processes and issues. Coordinate and conduct applicant drug screens, reference checks, background checks, and social security number verification. Create and maintain new hire and personnel files. Assist with orientation of new employees and facilitate New Employee Orientation Program. Monitor all hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and company policies and standards. Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files (e.g., interview documents, I-9's). Processes paperwork for personnel actions including terminations, FMLA, benefits enrollment, etc. Generate Human Resources data reports as necessary. Complete employment verifications. Respond to unemployment claims and hearings for assigned facilities. Experience with recruitment, employee relations investigations and compensation planning.
3 to 5 years of HR experience. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus. Experience working within a manufacturing environment. Ability to work within a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of HRIS systems.
