Senior Accountant, Consolidations (TAS)
Job Location: Bridgewater N.J.
The Senior Accountant will be hands-on in the preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements to provide management with timely and accurate consolidated financial information. This position performs all aspects of global consolidation, including consolidation of international entities, intercompany reconciliations, CTA reconciliations etc. This role is also responsible for preparing footnotes for 10-K and 10-Q. Support the Consolidation process, including creation of consolidation journal entries (i.e. elimination and non GAAP entries), tie-out of the financial statements to source data, and reconciliation of manual consolidation to the new financial reporting system. Ensure intercompany transactions are recorded correctly and appropriately eliminated in consolidated financial statements. Ensure intercompany billings/invoicing, loans and interest is done appropriately and in a timely manner including preparation of intercompany reconciliations. Ensure foreign currency transactions are recorded correctly and all translation adjustments are recorded appropriately in consolidated financial statements including preparation of CTA reconciliations. Responsible for creation of monthly close binder for all international entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and reliability. Assist and provide financial information for quarterly and year-end audit including footnote support schedules. Maintaining and updating all SOX related controls. Prepare ad-hoc reports and execute special projects as assigned.
Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field required – CPA or Pursuing CPA preferred. Minimum 3-4 years in public accounting and pharmaceutical industry. Possess a strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, accounting systems, internal controls, financial reporting, and financial statements analysis. Strong PC skills required, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite.
