HR Manager (BF)
Job Location: Parsippany, N.J.
HR Manager Function:
Implement and manage a wide variety of Human Resource generalist duties including; succession planning, talent management, policies, practices, and programs to support staffing, employee and labor relations, benefits, and compensation administration, EEO, training, HRIS systems, and safety. Develop and administer HR policies. Develop and maintain HR metrics. Human capital planning and workforce development. Recruit hourly and salaried positions. Support Operations team and other staff managers to coordinate manpower plans and help establish work schedules, job assignments, and any additional support needed to meet departmental goals. Partner with business operations to resolve problems, complaints and other employee related issues. Ensure compliance across legal, regulatory and internal policies. Oversee workers’ compensation program for the facility.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor degree in HR or Business. 3+ years of HR Management experience, preferred in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of New Jersey State Laws, Federal Laws and regulations in the areas of wage and hour laws, employment law, and workers’ compensation required. Knowledge of HRIS Systems. MBA or Advanced degree in Human Resource Management preferred. PHR/SPHR preferred.

Must have an analytical mind that provides creative solutions to day-to-day problems. Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven ability to influence and work effectively across all levels. Demonstrate discretion, able to work with sensitive and confidential materials and possess good business judgment. Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities. Proven ability to deal with conflict and diffuse difficult situations.
