Employee Relations/Investigations

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct thorough, professional, and thoughtful investigations regarding all employee relations and complaints. Establish trust and maintain professional working relationships with stakeholders including business leaders, legal partners, and HR business partners and collaborate on actionable resolutions. Utilize company tools and resources to document findings and evidence. Responsible for communications, including creating accurate and concise documentation and reports. Control high-stress, sensitive situations. Ensure that all inquiries are completely objective and brought to an impartial conclusion. Understand and stay current on laws and statutes (US, Bermuda and Canada) that may impact investigations, make logical recommendations based on this experience. Culture: foster and nurture a positive and inclusive work environment and help shape the company's culture and ensure that employees feel valued, motivated, and connected to the organization's goals and values, enhance employee satisfaction, productivity, and overall well-being to drive business outcomes. Coordinate corporate events such as New Hire Networking Events, Global Leadership Panels, and various Lunch & Learn sessions and maintain Events Calendar on the company intranet. Promote key initiatives across the following internal channels – colleague newsletter, internal communications, and company intranet. Manage the culture and engagement page on the company intranet, as well as other external sites including LinkedIn Life and Glassdoor. Stay current on what is trending in the culture and engagement arena. Collaborate with the Culture & Engagement team on the administration of our global engagement survey. Manage employee recognition programs and projects. Help support policy administration including new crafting company policies, communication and/or training initiatives associated with rolling out new policies or procedures. Ad hoc projects as needed.

EDUCATION:
A Bachelor’s degree, SHRM certified preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
4-6 years’ experience with employee investigations. 4-6 years’ experience supporting activities as they relate employee engagement (events, recognition activities).

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Become a brand ambassador. Ability to identify and define challenges; gather data and analyze it; establish facts; and draw valid conclusions. Maintain a high level of integrity, confidentiality, emotional intelligence, and professionalism. Strong presentation/facilitation, organizational, interpersonal, written/oral communication, and internal and external customer service skills. Ability to manage projects and/or events of all sizes with a high attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Intellectual curiosity; brings insights into the team and business. Ability to travel from time to time, approximately 10%.
