Our client, located in Morris County, NJ, is currently in search of a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in various financial activities, encompassing month-end closing, journal entries, bank reconciliations, account analysis, and the preparation of financial reports.

Responsibilities:
Ensure monthly reconciliation of accounts to guarantee precision in reporting and ledger upkeep. Spearhead the preparation and management of financial statements, including advanced balance sheet reconciliations. Uphold compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Contribute to the formulation of the annual budget. Identify, document, and implement enhanced business and accounting workflows, policies, and procedures. Prepare documentation for External Auditors. Establish and uphold procedures related to closing and consolidations. Prepare journal entries for entry. Collaborate in bank reconciliations and fixed asset management.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in accounting. Exceptional mathematical and analytical acumen. Proficiency in working with ERP systems. Strong Excel skills. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication aptitude. Proven experience collaborating across different business units, clients, and teams. A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience. A CPA Certification is a plus.
