Growing Architectural Engineering firm needs someone to perform electrical design tasks and calculations for electrical loads, equipment sizing, feeder sizing, voltage drop, using AutoCAD and Revit. Should have knowledge of building codes, NFPA, NEC, IEEE, ANSI, and electrical equipment standards. Will develop schematics, construction documents, specifications, construction administration for commercial, educational, and institutional building projects. Will coordinate and communicate with architects, owners, other engineering disciplines, vendors, building officials through the design/construction phase of the project. Will assist with the planning for multiple projects, assist with the scope, budget, and schedule of project tasks, and develop applications, permits, and engineering reports. Position will require 5+ years’ experience in power distribution/lighting design for building projects. PE license a plus.
