Our client in the global consumer products industry, situated in central New Jersey, is presently searching for a skilled Senior Payroll Specialist who can commit to a prolonged contract lasting up to 9 months. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of both Workday and ADP.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for supervising all payroll operations and time-keeping functions for both domestic and international.

A comprehensive comprehension of the payroll life cycle is crucial, as you will manage and execute all tax filings and reporting endeavors, while also coordinating tax filing through ADP services. Upholding best practices and keeping stakeholders well-informed about changes to ensure payroll compliance will be part of your duties. You will document the payroll process to fulfill SOX compliance requisites, reconcile payroll for general ledger expense accounting, furnish management reports for payroll audits, and provide guidance to operational payroll staff.

REQUIRED:
A Bachelor's degree (BSc/BA) in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. Profound proficiency in Workday and ADP. 3-5 years of pertinent experience in payroll management, along with expertise in multi-state payroll. Familiarity with state and federal wage and tax laws. Previous supervisory experience a plus. Capacity to thrive in a collaborative team. Exceptional communication and adept problem-solving skills.
