Compensation Manager
White Plains, NY (Hybrid)
Manage all aspects of compensation strategies, policies and programs. Administers, designs, develops, and implements compensation programs.
Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, implements, and administers compensation programs for the company. Ensures that the salary administration structure and all compensation programs align with the needs of the business while remaining market competitive. Manages salary administration, job descriptions, job requisition approval, new hire and promotion recommendation approval, and taxable vehicle program. Responsible for the communication and administration of the executive compensation program. Lead the annual merit & bonus review process, and act as an expert resource during the year-end process by assisting in communication, training, data audit, and supporting HR and managers on program and system questions. Recommends compensation proposals/plans to ensure the maintenance of the organization's compensation objectives and competitive position in the marketplace utilizing thorough benchmarking and analysis. Manages participation in area and industry specific compensation surveys to stay current with external trends that will attract, retain, and motivate the talent needed to drive our business priorities. Conducts job analysis to determine appropriate salary level according to compensation guidelines and policies for all new and existing roles. Analyzes compensation programs, policies and practices to ensure they are compliant, competitive, cost effective, and align with company philosophy and support business objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required. 8+ years of compensation experience. Exposure to benefits a plus. Knowledge of compensation and benefits principles and concepts including market pricing and compensation plan/structure design. Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred.
Compensation expertise in merit pay programs, incentive and bonus plans, job evaluation, and salary survey use and methodology.
