The Sr. Director HR is responsible for developing, planning and delivering strategic and tactical plans, programs and services that support business needs, foster engagement, and drive performance and productivity globally. This role reports to the Global VP HR.

Develop and execute human capital strategies throughout North America locations. Be a strategic leader who can deliver broad HR expertise in talent development, talent management, organization effectiveness, change management, employee relations, and HR operations. COE experience in the areas of HR analytics, compensation, leadership development, talent management and recruitment, change management, organizational change while supporting company goals. Build the HR function from scratch across North America. Train and develop Managers/HR Business Partners and high-level executives. Design Human Capital Plan demonstrating people strategy with the business strategy to deliver results and improvements. Handle employee relations issues. Be aware of current trends and have an eye on the future. Lead the succession management process and develop global talent acquisition strategies. Implement strategies to maximize human capital. Deliver talent strategy using solutions from the HR COEs (Recruiting, Talent Review, Succession Planning, D&I strategy, L&D) to solve business problems. Be an influencer and change management leader to create an organization that can make transformations happen. Lead the design and implementation of Human Resources programs.

Bachelors Degree in HR or related field; advanced degree a plus. 10+ years of broad human resources. Manufacturing/pharma/biotech industry experience required. 5+ years of managerial experience required. Solid HR Generalist skillset. Experience within a highly regulated industry required. Experience building an HR function from the ground up. Strong ability to build relationships and influence others. Strong leadership skills and executive presence. Strategic mindset - ability to engage in detailed discussions while linking back to the big picture and broader vision. Clear and concise communication skills. Very organized and detailed oriented; able to manage multiple and conflicting priorities. Ability to travel as needed.
