Sr Accountant - Bridgewater, NJ (Hybrid)

The Senior Accountant will coordinate the operation of the general accounting functions for all activities associated with the general ledger.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Post daily journal entries, accruals, and closing adjustments. Review bi-weekly payroll and post entries. Prepare bank, investment, and intercompany reconciliations. Analyze fixed assets, record depreciation, amortization, disposals, and prepare roll-forwards. Approve weekly A/P check runs and record all wire transfers. Review, approve, and record annual recoveries for property tenants. Prepare financial reporting for outside tax preparation firms and banks for debt compliance. Prepare annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasted budgets as well as variance analysis. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis. Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and SEC accounting and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel.
