HR Manager - Teterboro, NJ (Hybrid)

The HR Manager will implement and manage a wide variety of Human Resource duties including; succession planning, talent management, policies and procedure, recruitment, employee relations, benefits and compensation administration, training, employee engagement, and compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and administer HR initiatives, policies and metrics. Design human capital planning and workforce development across multiple locations. Design and implement HR best practices; leverage expertise and utilize resources to support and promote client group business objectives. Provide problem evaluation/interpretation of policy for management and employees; advise/counsel employees and management with the objective of problem prevention and resolution. Assist business leaders with training, development, and succession planning issues; design and propose initiatives and programs to train and develop employees, increase productivity, improve morale, motivate employees, and create a positive employee relations climate. Assist in developing and implementing change management initiatives. Assist in the performance management and development process. Manage and resolve problems, complaints and other employee related issues. Ensure compliance across legal, regulatory and internal policies.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor degree required. 10+ years of HR experience. Experience working in an environment that is supporting both hourly and salaried employees. Experience within retail industry a plus. In depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations for the US. PHR/SPHR preferred. Must have an analytical mind that provides creative solutions to day-to-day problems. Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven ability to influence and work effectively across all levels. Demonstrate discretion, able to work with sensitive and confidential materials and possess good business judgment. Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities. Proven ability to deal with conflict and diffuse difficult situations.
