Position requires an on-site presence for two days of the week.
Reporting to the Senior Director, HEOR Therapeutic Area lead this role will: Closely collaborate with Access Strategy Lead and HEOR Lead to develop and execute global HEOR strategies and programs for products within the Liver and Inflammation therapy area to inform, support and strengthen commercialization activities including clinical development, marketing and market access. Work with cross-functional business partners to develop and support product value proposition to optimize access, reimbursement and uptake throughout the lifecycle of products. Identify global HEOR evidence requirements and gaps; design, conduct and deliver studies, models and tools to support value demonstration and product differentiation for assigned indication(s). Collaborate closely with Access Strategy leads to co-develop and implement the Global Value and Access strategy for assigned indication(s) – both in the Global organization and with key markets. Develop systematic literature reviews, global value dossiers and economic models that can capture long term benefits of products, potential benefits of treatment and screening. Develop and execute RWE studies in markets globally to support overall brand goals. Develop studies to support Patient Reported Outcomes endpoints in clinical trials. Provide HEOR input into clinical development programs as required. Develop HEOR evidence generation plans for specific products and brands within the Liver and Inflammation therapy area, in collaboration with cross-functional partners including Access, Medical and Clinical functions. Maintain and continue to enhance knowledge of technical and methodological advances and trends to ensure best approaches are used in HEOR studies and evaluations. Design and execute HEOR data dissemination plan (e.g., manuscripts, scientific presentations, slide decks) supporting the peer reviewed published evidence
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
We’re seeking an analytical independent contributor with: Advanced degree related to medical, health economics, health outcomes research, or epidemiology (MS, MBA, MPH, MD/DO, PhD, PharmD) with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry and/or in hands-on health economics and outcomes research (HEOR). Good knowledge of HEOR activities and research (Literature reviews, dossier development, PRO development/analysis, prospective
etrospective studies, database analysis, cost-effectiveness/utility modelling). Ability to prepare HEOR abstracts for conferences and experience drafting, reviewing, and editing manuscripts. Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical product lifecycle and clinical development. A good understanding of US/global healthcare systems and reimbursement processes/public policy decision-making. Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills with evidence of working collaboratively with other functional areas and country representatives. Excellent project management and organizational skills, including management of multiple priorities and resources. Launch experience preferred.
