RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install hardware/software and provide on-call support for production systems. Create and test application scripts through Bank's method of application deployment. Provide accurate and reliable status to management. Research service packs and patches. Leverage current services and research new services to maximize productivity. Plan, schedule, review, and complete work assignments. Monitor the current Linux, Tomcat and VMWare environment. Build new Linux and VMWare virtual servers. Design and implement solutions to meet Bank needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides skill and abilities to perform the job. Four to six years of experience as a systems engineer for Linux focused work. Individual should have outstanding analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to identify, prioritizes, and remedies problems quickly. Experience with the following: virtual technologies (VmWare), SAN/NAS storage technologies and file systems management (NFS, iSCSI, multipathing, Linux LVM, etc.), software based HA clustering, load balance technologies (F5), Apache, Tomcat, MySQL and Bash, PowerShell or other similar scripting languages. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The Systems Engineer position requires expertise in current Linux distributions (Redhat, SUSE and Ubuntu), F5 ADC and open source applications such as Apache web server and Tomcat application server.
