Identify and interface with regional and national HEOR and RWE experts and organizations, profile data sources and organizations who conduct real world outcomes research as they relate to products and therapeutic areas. Add to the existing HEOR knowledge base of researchers, data sources and organizations who conduct real world outcomes research as they relate to products and therapeutic areas to support value messages. Interpret and communicate HEOR and RWE data of varying levels of complexity to formulary and healthcare policy decision-makers and their expert influencers in compliance with company policies. Increase the knowledge and awareness of the value propositions of marketed products allowing key healthcare and formulary professionals to make informed therapeutic decisions on behalf of patients and their providers. Identify real-world research concepts, provide customer insights, liaise with HEOR & RWE home-office research leads, and collaborate on study design and analysis. Generate evidence that support value propositions of products. Closely monitor national and regional changes in healthcare policy and payer environment, assess competitive data/gaps and communicate these back to the organization, to help stay competitive and on the cutting edge of EBM issues and HEOR data for purposes of strategic and commercial planning. Demonstrate expertise in effective use of customer insights internally and externally. Provide insights from external customers to home office research leads in HEOR and other teams to lead efforts in filling select key evidence gaps from a health system and payor perspective. Establish relationships with key external health system and/or health plan decision makers, influencers and scientific experts.
Minimum seven (7) years of relevant experience with a Doctoral Degree from an accredited institution or over 10 years of relevant experience with a Master/Clinical Degree from an accredited institution or other degree certification of practical experience in conducting or supporting HEOR & RWE studies in United States. Hands-On HEOR & RWE experience in study design and execution (preferred). In-depth knowledge of US healthcare industry trends, the US healthcare delivery system and landscape (Payors, Health Systems, Government, Quality and Accrediting Bodies). Demonstrated experience the assessment of real world data assets and capabilities of payors, health systems and relevant organizations. Demonstrated understanding of Market Access dynamics (experience in supporting Outcomes-Based and Value-Based Contracting preferred).
