Principal Accountant, SEC Reporting (CN)

The successful candidate will be a principal accountant within the Corporate Financial Reporting Group, which is responsible for the collection, consolidation and reporting of financial results for the total Company. The primary responsibilities of the role include drafting footnotes for Company’s 10-Q and 10-K reports in accordance with SEC regulations, generally accepted accounting principles and Company policies and guidelines. The candidate must have ability to manage multiple tasks, be well organized, and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding deadlines. Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills are vital. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and work with minimal supervision. Opportunity to develop current working knowledge of accounting theory of U.S. GAAP, IFRS and other relevant financial accounting standards, and maintain an understanding of rules issued by the U.S. SEC and company policies.



Requirements:

The candidate must possess a B.S. or B.A. degree in Accounting. CPA is required. Possess knowledge of consolidation concepts; understanding of financial statements in a multinational setting, U.S. accounting principles, FASB requirements and interpretations. Knowledge of Workiva program and XBRL and an understanding of SEC requirements is a plus. Minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant experience required, either in public accounting or headquarters/large multi-national organization. Flexibility regarding changing priorities and tight deadlines, analyze and solve problems, self-starter, learn quickly, work independently and motivate others. The role provides exposure to senior management and cross-functional teams. Improves ability to effectively communicate and influence various levels of management/staff.
