Financial Services Co. located outside of Philadelphia is hiring a Finance Manager to join the growing team.
Responsible for the annual planning and ongoing forecast process, reporting and analysis of key business metrics, and development and analysis of different profitability views of the business. The role will require the experience and ability to identify and analyze trends, communicate effectively with team members and senior leaders, manage ongoing deliverables and deadlines through efficient and effective processes, and report results clearly and concisely.
Manage the preparation of an annual operating plan and multi-year rolling forecast through collaboration with business partners across the organization on strategy and business development initiatives. Foster a collaborative environment across finance and accounting teams; work closely with various areas within the firm to incorporate the latest business assumptions into firm analyses, plans, and forecasts. Develop and maintain internal reporting packages and dashboards that provide clear and concise financial information and highlights to senior leadership. Develop metrics and identify trends in the business to help drive unique insights. Perform financial analysis, including budget to actual variance reporting, for both capital project budgets and operating budgets. Create detailed financial models with the ability to analyze key variables to support the planning and forecasting process. Lead and oversee forecasting tool to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the technology. Lead, manage and develop a team of direct reports. Ability and interest in staying up to speed with industry information and applying this knowledge to analysis.
CPA or advanced degree, preferably an MBA or equivalent, desirable. 15+ years of experience in FP&A. Asset management experience required. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to draw out meaningful trends from large data sets or complex financial models and display them visually. Must be able to communicate directly with peers and senior leaders to accomplish tasks. Effectively present ideas and solutions in a logical and articulate manner with the ability to communicate effectively with and influence senior leaders.
