The Manager US Benefit Plans will improve, implement, administer, and maintain benefit programs, policies and procedures for the companys US Benefits including, but not limited to; Health and Welfare plans, 401k, LOA etc. Partner with cross functional teams and external vendors as Benefits Workday Lead. Audit HR/Benefit System and integrations related to the H&W plans. Review, analyze surveys, benefits competitiveness compared with various benchmarks. Review and analyze changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits, and report necessary or suggested changes to management. Provide recommendations to ensure plan compliance. Create and deliver of communications at various levels including but not limited to training materials, policies, and procedures. Review all benefit processes to ensure they are efficient and as automate as possible. Identify opportunities for operational improvements and works with various teams to implement changes. Oversee benefit programs and processes including Open Enrollment. Lead the implementation of new plans, programs or changes to existing plans by overseeing required system and vendor updates, preparing announcement materials, communication matters, conducting HR and associate training. Collaborate with internal and external resources in the design, test and deployment of H&W interfaces as well as the configuration and updating of benefit plans in the HR system. Assist Management on special projects as needed. Other activities as assigned.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a Corporate Benefits environment with an emphasis on compliance, managing and implementing health & welfare plans and programs. Strong knowledge of HR/Benefit systems. Proficient in Workday. Experience and understanding of applicable federal and local regulations pertaining to benefits including ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, etc. Advanced level Excel skills. Bachelors Degree is required, CEBS designation preferred.
