Our HR team has an immediate opening for a Global HR Business Partner based at our Union Beach, NJ R&D Facility. This new addition to our team will provide full HR Business support to R&D, IT, Legal & Global Regulatory Affairs functions. This role serves as a critical advisor to the business heads and contributes to the achievement of business strategy by developing and executing on the HR people strategy, and by driving implementation of Global HR priorities for the supported functions. The role will require frequent travel to New York City headquarters. The global employee base supported is approximately 350 FTE.
Effectively build a relationship with the head of all functional areas supported, providing sound advice and influence in the leadership of this business.
Understand overall business and HR strategies, and within this framework, lead the execution of globally defined 1-3 year business and HR plans needed to support business goals.
As a member of the HR Leadership team, participate in the implementation of business strategies providing relevant HR framing and solutions to business challenges, while influencing management thinking.
Lead the development of strategic HR initiatives such as workforce planning within the defined functional areas
Proactively build and maintain a network of key relationships within the business to continuously understand business dynamics, as well as engaging the HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to determine effective approaches to achieving business plans.
Partner and collaborate with Regional People Service Directors and Global HRBPs to ensure consistency of approach and overall alignment to corporate strategic vision and guidelines, and to share best practices and success stories. Ensure People Services and COEs are informed in timely manner of relevant issues with the functional groups.
Partner with global and regional representatives of HR COEs for successful roll-out of global programs, and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Understand and leverage the entire HR delivery chain: Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, while ensuring full alignment to company’s global people processes.
Understand, shape, and ensure implementation of the development of each member of the business leadership team.
Support the regional and local HR team in personal and professional development.
Bachelor's degree required.
7-10 years' work experience, with 7+ years' broad based HR Generalist experience with a global organization.
Must be highly collaborative and possess the ability to work with key stake holders to develop pragmatic, value-added solutions that drive measurable results within the context of company’s business strategies.
Forward thinking, ability to display vision, and anticipate events.
Highly analytical and ability to analyze data to support business decisions.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to partner with various levels of management.
Excellent Microsoft office suite skills.
Preferred r GPHR/SPHR certification preferred.
Self-starter with no fear of rolling up sleeves and diving into challenges.
Ability to change gears quickly and thrive in a fast paced environment is a must.
Experience strongly desired; delivered HRBP support to teams outside the U.S.
